Raised Access Floors

The Warmafloor raised access flooring system (RAF) provides warm water under floor heating / cooling into standard raised access floors

This system can be used together with many Kingspan and Propaflor RAF systems.

The RAF floor pedestals are installed and the special Warmafloor RAF brackets are attached to the pedestals.

Warmafloor 35mm thick by 1200mm long heating modules are then quickly and simply clipped into the brackets.

Once these are all fitted, continuous lengths of Warmafloor 16mm 5 layer underfloor heating pipework is inserted into the Warmafloor raised access floor modules.

The underfloor pipework is connected to the Warmafloor manifold, filled with water, and pressurised to check for water tightness.

The final floor finish can then be laid. The underfloor heating pipework must remain under pressure when the flooring is installed above.

The RAF system can provide heating from 50W/m² to 80W/m? at flow temperatures of 45ºC to 60ºC. Cooling can also be provided using a flow temperature of 13ºC to provide up to 25W/m? from the floor surface.
