Water-based systems are not always the most appropriate solution for every application, so Warmafloor is pleased to offer a choice of electrically heated alternatives. Warmafloor’s electric cable system is a high quality product that is user friendly, reliable and extremely safe. It uses an electronic thermostat system to maintain the required room temperature with the minimum expenditure of energy. The system can be used with most types of solid or joisted floor – either laid within the screed or between the joists. The twin conductor cables require no return connector and create no electromagnetic interference.

Millimat electric heating comprises a floor heating cable fixed to a thin glass fibre adhesive mesh

Warmafloor’s Millimat system comprises a floor heating cable fixed to a thin, self-adhesive glass fibre mesh. The system is designed to be fitted under tile floors and is only 4mmthick. The mat is simply fixed to the floor and embedded in the tile adhesive. The whole system consists of the mat and an electronic thermostat, and is an ideal solution for both new and refurbishment projects. The Millimat is guaranteed for 10 years, subject to correct installation and operation. It needs no maintenance, creates no electro-magnetic field and presents no electrical hazard when properly installed. Millimat is available in various sizes to cover all different areas where single or multi-mats can be supplied.
