Warmafloor Supply Nexans Millimat® System

The Millimat system comprises a twin conductor heating cable fixed to a thin, self adhesive glass fibre mesh. The Millimat system is only 4.5mm thick and is designed to be fitted where floor depth is a premium. The mat is simply fixed to the floor and embedded in either a tile adhesive or latex screed. The whole system consists of the mat and an electronic thermostat and is an ideal solution for both new and refurbishment projects.

Millimat® is available in either 100W/m² or 150W/m² for various floor types.

In order to obtain the optimal floor heating solution it is important that you choose the correct Millimat® - both as regards to size and wattage.

The Nexans Millimat® 100W/m² can be installed on any type of sub floor and is recommended for use in living areas, hallways, kitchens and bedrooms. The mat is designed to be completely embedded in either screed or tile adhesive. The finished floor can be stone, tiles, vinyl, parquet, laminate etc.

The Nexans Millimat® 150W/m² must only be installed on a non-combustible sub floor and is recommended for use in bathrooms, toilets, laundry rooms and other areas requiring high outputs. The mat is designed to be completely embedded in screed. The finished floor must be a non-combustible material (tiles, stone, vinyl etc).

How to plan your Millimat System

Start by measuring the free surface area, allowing for any fixed furniture ie. baths, toilets etc.

Depending on your floor type, you have the choice of milimat 100 or 150 W/mSq.
