WARMAFLOOR
WIRE GRID SYSTEM--TYPICAL SECTION |
|
Edge
insulation is laid around the perimeter of the area to be heated providing
a barrier against perimeter heat loss and for expansion. Insulation panels of the required thickness and density are laid over the complete floor area and then covered with a vapour barrier. To this area a wire-fixing grid is laid to secure the Warmafloor PB underfloor heating pipe work . Warmafloor PB pipe work is then laid out in the desired circuit configuration and pipe spacing for the area and secured to the fixing grid with pipe ties. The underfloor pipe work is connected to the Warmafloor manifold, filled with water and pressurised to check for water tightness. As soon as practical after the installation is completed the screed should be laid over the system to the required depth. Before using the Warmafloor system or applying any floor covering the screed must be allowed to dry until full strength is reached when the system can be allowed to warm up over a period of days to allow moisture to escape. |
