WARMAFLOOR FLOATING FLOOR SYSTEM
Predominantly for use in new buildings. The concrete oversite must be flat and level and incorporate a damp proof membrane. A vapour barrier is laid on top of the screed, then Warmafloor grooved floating floor insulation panels
manufactured from HDN load bearing polystyrene are laid across the whole are to be heated.
There are two typical types of panels, standard panels fill the main area, with end panels incorporating pipe return grooves at each end of the area.
Once the panels are laid Warmafloor heat diffusion plates are pressed into pre formed grooves and then the Warmafloor PB pipe work is clipped into place and circuited back to the underfloor heating manifold.
The floor finish, tongued and grooved chipboard or wood strip finishes is then laid directly over the total floor area with a small expansion gap around the perimeter of the room. In areas of heavy traffic such as doorways, timber supports should be placed directly beneath tongued and grooved joints.
Unlike other manufacturers system, the Warmafloor system design allows complete access to all components for replacement through the floor covering.
